President is the most labor intensive position out of all leadership roles in anime club. A president must be willing to put aside one’s own ambitions and ideas in order to compromise with fellow members for the greater good of the club. Club President is required to agree to disagree with the most taxing members. President must work with members to come up with presentations to present for meetings, preside over club activities, and mediate between total chaos and scheduled plans. The President, aside from club sponsor, is the source of conducting meetings and has the ability to present and show anime and PowerPoints of their choice. The President is encouraged to get the opinion of members’ for meeting agendas, but is not obligated to do so if deemed unnecessary. Being president is not easy, but thankfully our club president has a group of students under them to help fulfill the mission and duties of Anime Club.
